Dave began dabbling in art at a young age and most of his works have always been shared with people special to him as gifts for special occasions.

A self-taught artist, Dave studied black and white photography under Mandy Navasero, and painting and color harmony under painter E.R. Tagle.

After experimenting with different mediums such as pen and ink, oil pastel, and acrylic, Dave has found his place in fine art prints by producing color rich art prints on canvas for which he has been repeatedly commissioned.

In 2006 Dave brought his unique works to the public by holding his first one man exhibit entitled “COLOR POEMS in Ink and Paint”.

In 2009 he participated in Art In Sight’s Covers Project for the magazine’s premier issue.
